The images were allegedly hacked from the actress’ mobile phone, according to FOX news reports.
"The FBI is aware of the alleged hacking incident and is looking into it," an FBI official told Fox News.

According to People magazine, the FBI is investigating an estimated 50 people. In March, The Los Angeles Times reported that Johansson’s name was on a list with other celebrities who were victims of a hacking ring seeking to obtain information from their private accounts and smartphones.
Johansson’s photographs leaked on Wednesday according to TMZ, causing the actress to seek legal action.
